Based at Shardlow Marina in Derbyshire, Cherilton Narrowboats has Graham Ford at the helm. Graham is a time served, City and Guild qualified, engineer. For the past 25 years he has also been designing and making furniture . Graham tries to bring his furniture making skills to his boatbuilding.

Graham has for many years specialised in producing bespoke furniture in oak and various other timber types,making furniture for bedrooms and kitchens.

Grahams expertise and knowledge are reflected in his fitted narrowboats, and he produces his furniture to fit within the confines of a narrowboat so giving the impression of space, whilst maximising storage opportunities.
